Appearing on The Graham Norton show - due to be broadcast tonight,
the Live It Up hitmaker told the host: "It got a reaction. I wore the
exact same outfit for the Billboard awards a week or so ago and there
wasn't a peep from anyone.
Declaring that she trusts her outfit choices, Jennifer who has two children added: "Perhaps the outfit in black made a difference. I trust myself; look in the mirror, look front, look back and out you go."
Meanwhile, following Jennifer's performance where she wore the revealing playsuit with feather sleeves and thigh high boots, fans took to Twitter to react to what they had seen.
Not happy with what she was seeing, Twitter user, @FayeBradbury tweeted: "Could Jennifer Lopez's outfit be any more inappropriate for a family show??? #bgt #jlo #thrusting?!", whilst another viewer (@eleanorjoynutt) of the show agreed posting on the social networking site:
"Jennifer Lopez was just way to much on BGT.. There's young children watching and she has her popo all up in the camera. Put it away girl!"
Picking on Jennifer's age, @Laura_Loo23 commented: "Anyone else think @JLo is a little old to be wearing that awful outfit?! Or am I just jealous?! Can't decide on this one!! #bgt." @MissieMeesh also tweeted her dislike for Jen's performance on the show last night which saw Jack Caroll and Gabz make it through the final last night.
She wrote: "Jennifer lopez was abysmal last night on #BGT should have been on a pole letting it rain money #superstarmybacksside", whilst @fee_kie added: "Oh my god! @JLo should be ashamed of herself for the Bgt performance !! Dosent (sic) this woman have kids!"
In the days that have followed, media regulator Ofcom have confirmed that complaints have been made about Jen's BGT performance. According to the Independent, a statement read:
“Ofcom can confirm that it has received complaints about Britain’s Got Talent broadcast on Tuesday, which we are assessing but not currently investigating.”
