French Ligue 1 side Lille are willing to sell Nigerian
international goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama for a fee of $1.5 million to
Israeli champions Maccabi Tel Aviv, where Enyeama is currently on loan.
According to a French website one.co.il, if the deal falls out,
Enyeama would return to Lille this summer but is not assured of first
team football.
Lille took the decision to sell Enyeama after he refused to return to
France and serve as back up to then number one Mickael Landreau who
later left for Bastia.
Enyeama joined Maccabi at the beginning of the just ended season due
to limited playing opportunities in his first season in France.
The African champion is  likely to complete the switch to Maccabi Tel
Aviv after helping them win the league at the just ended season
Will the Israeli side desperately in need of a goalkeeper for their
Champions League campaign next season, Enyeama could well fit in their
plans.
Enyeama was the first goalkeeper for the Tel Aviv side and featured
27 times in the just concluded season that saw the club clinch their
second title in the Ligat ha’Al.
