Beyoncé Beef up Security ahead of London Concert

BEYONCÉ HAS beefed up her personal security at a forthcoming London concert due to fears about a British stalker.

Bey has allegedly received threatening letters from a man who has already been warned to stay away from her.

Bassey Essien was banned from pestering the US star after she won an anti-harassment order against him in the High Court in 2011.

A source told The Sun: "Staff have been briefed on the situation and pictures of him have been passed round. They've been told to keep their eyes open and be extra vigilant.

"Security has been increased on a few engagements now, especially for her UK promo. It is believed similar letters to the ones that Essien sent have been received."

The news comes after the I Been On singer was slapped her bottom during a performance in Copenhagen, Denmark on Monday (May 27) left furious when an overzealous fan.

Beyoncé handed her microphone to fans so they could sing along with her to No.1 hit Irreplaceable and was struck as she turned around.
