BEYONCÉ HAS beefed up her personal security at a forthcoming London concert due to fears about a British stalker.
The 31-year-old singer has asked staff to be extra vigilant, as she
prepares for a performance at the Chime of Change concert at Twickenham
Stadium this Saturday (June 1).
Bey has allegedly received threatening letters from a man who has already been warned to stay away from her.
Bassey Essien was banned from pestering the US star after she won an
anti-harassment order against him in the High Court in 2011.
A source told The Sun: "Staff have been briefed on the
situation and pictures of him have been passed round. They've been told
to keep their eyes open and be extra vigilant.
"Security has been increased on a few engagements now, especially for
her UK promo. It is believed similar letters to the ones that Essien
sent have been received."
The news comes after the I Been On singer was slapped her
bottom during a performance in Copenhagen, Denmark on Monday (May 27)
left furious when an overzealous fan.
Beyoncé handed her microphone to fans so they could sing along with her to No.1 hit Irreplaceable and was struck as she turned around.
